7 Top Bitcoin Faucets | Highest Paying in (July 2020)
Crypto Faucet I use to store my mined bitcoin on, with 4.08% APR paid daily with accounts over 30k satoshi. Referral link included, I share 50% commissions with my referrals paid every Sunday if you're interested.
My referral link for the aforementioned FREEBITCO.IN: https://freebitco.in/?r=30437643&tag=redditF I have cross referenced this post on my site: passivecryptoguides.com Why should you sign on with me? I'm not a one off, you can reach me personally through DM or post comments. I've done most of the leg work, alleviating the trial and error process. Just follow the steps in this guide specifically in sections 7️⃣, 8️⃣, and 9️⃣. I share 50% commissions, get a kick back on everything you earn weekly. I trust this site, and personally have 270$ worth of bitcoin in one account with almost 500$ total including two other accounts. Coming from Cointiply? Well, as a heads up, you're not actually holding any BTC. I suggest what you earn you HODL in FREEBITCO.IN. Just some abbreviation and terminology explanation before we start for those unfamiliar. Using a VPN or a TOR is now allowed given that your account achieves certain criteria similar to a captcha free account requirements. 🛑WARNING: FREEBITCO.IN wipes inactive accounts after a certain period! If you lose interest, withdraw your BTC! 📝NOTE: iOS devices (iPad, iPhone) are restrictive. The only way to access is via website, as BitBot isn't available.📝 FREEBITCO.IN is what's called a "faucet", a site that gives a small steady stream of crypto which FREEBITCO.IN does through hourly rolls and interest accrual. FREEBITCO.IN also hosts other means to win or earn crypto, you can gamble with Multiplier, or bet on world evens and crypto prices. After your account reaches 30k Satoshi, you begin to collect interest. The site also offers lifetime referral commissions, explained later in this guide. All you need to start is an email. You can add more verification options for security later on. I would highly suggest it. Use a junk email though. 2FA and MFA are strongly suggested. A password should be 15 characters long. I suggest Google Authenticator for your 2FA needs. I know you can definitely access this site from Brave Browser with add blockers enabled. I'm sure it will work with others. Even without an ad blockers, they only advertise their site gambling and games, no 3rd party adds that I've seen. It's not too invasive or spammy either. ⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹ 2️⃣POST INTENTIONS2️⃣ This post is both an advertising platform I use, and a guide I've made to help those interested to automate and optimize earnings. For those of a cautious mindset, I've uploaded all of FREEBITCO.IN's information on interest accrual, security, and proof of mining on Imgur, in case you're worried about visiting the site. Transparent link here: Interest accrual structure and FREEBITCO.IN security. https://imgur.com/a/wWjQtKT My referral link: https://freebitco.in/?r=30437643&tag=redditC2 ⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹ 3️⃣MY EARNINGS3️⃣ So at this point, with hourly claims and daily interest, I'm bringing in roughly 8978 Satoshi (or .70$ USD with BTC at 7804$ USD) daily at full optimization on one account, and two other self referred accounts without lifting a finger. This is before the fact that a hourly roll (claim) can reward up to a max of 200$ USD worth of BTC (percentages in section 5️⃣). They also have a weekly lotto (tickets awarded with every roll and referral roll) with the last 1st place winner receiving .32769156 BTC (2587$ USD at current bitcoin price). This is also not including my current commissions on accounts not owned by me. In this post I will describe some of my strategies I've incorporated, and some insight into how this website works. To offload or withdraw bitcoin, you're going to need what is called a "wallet". I personally use Coinbase (available on mobile or desktop) as you can sell it through here as well and easily move money to Paypal or a bank. ⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹ 4️⃣HOW DO COMMISSION REWARDS WORK?4️⃣ If you are already on FREEBITCO.IN, do you have someone who referred you? Do they share commissions? If not, why not make a new account and join me, where you'll get a return on everything you earn. As you can see, large affiliate groups don't share anything, hoarding hundreds of thousands worth of BTC earned off their referrals I share 50% of my commissions. I get 50% of your roll rewards, 25% of your interest, and 0.4% of your wagers. All of this is paid out by FREEBITCO.IN as a commission, so it's not pulled from your rewards or held BTC. So the more you're active, the more you'll receive from me weekly (being active is doing anything that I get commissions from). IMPORTANT: Your (and all referrals) shares are based on activity, so if you are inactive for the week, you get a lower % for that week. If you're the most active of my referrals you get a higher percentage of what I share. This is to incentivize being active and to stop people from getting a cut without doing anything. If you have FREEBITCO.IN automated, you don't have to worry about this. However, having a larger bankroll to earn interest, or playing Multiply BTC (I do not suggest playing unless doing so to meet auto roll requirements) will increase can your activity further. Commission Structure Here is some proof, I've actually shared about 2/3 of all commissions Commissions update 12 January 2020 Here is a proof of Payment section per individual 📝NOTE: I've noticed when I was creating the images of commission sharing that the "RECENT" blocks are showing zero. If you look at totals from the first image, you can tell I'm actively sharing with all of my referrals.📝 Join my team FREEBITCO.IN ⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹ 5️⃣SOME CLAIM STATS5️⃣ You can earn AT LEAST .00000552 BTC (.048$) daily when automated (or claiming every hour on the hour) before bonuses (like using reward points to increase rewards 1000%). After some testing, it seems that this amount will always be about .048$ worth of BTC, base claim rewards no bonus active. After .00030000 BTC, you accrue compounding interest at a rate of 4.08% APR, paid daily. As soon as your daily interest is accredited, it too starts earning interest. The daily interest rate comes out to ~0.011% of your total held BTC. FREEBITCO.IN gives you a roll once every hour, free 📝NOTE: Roll rewards fluctuate inversely with BTC price. BTC goes down, roll rewards go up, vice versa. The BTC rewards USD value will be extremely close to the values represented below.📝 Current rewards and probability with every hourly roll. (.002$) -> 98.85% (.02$) -> 1.00% (.20$) -> .08% (2.00$) -> .04% (20$) -> .02% (200$) -> .01% ⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹ 6️⃣MULTIPLY BTC STRATS AND INFO6️⃣ 🛑!WARNING!, NO STRATEGY IS 100%, THE MULTIPLIER GAME IS GAMBLING, YOU CAN STILL LOSE YOUR WHOLE BALANCE IF YOU PUSH YOUR LUCK.🛑 UPDATE: I decided to do some research after some odd outcomes when extensively testing some of my Multiplier strats. Turns out FREEBITCO.IN does indeed have a house advantage that isn't too transparent. Longer sessions are almost always going to come out negative. If you still plan on playing, do short sessions, once daily max, with lower amounts. There are a couple methods to play the Multiplier with a reduced risk (but still a risk) here as well. I would suggest small play sessions. STRAT #1 My preferred settings for AUTOROLL on MULTIPLY that I've had the best success rate with to date. (preferably with .00005000 in ACCT for best results) BET: Minimum ODDS: 3 ROLLS: (doesn't matter, 100) BET ON: alternate STOP BETTING PROFIT: .00000050, important as the bets will get exponentially higher with every loss. Win in small increments. STOP BETTING LOSS: Set a loss limit if you want, I have mine set to .00001 and haven't reached it ON WIN: select increase bet 0% ON LOSS: select increase bet 65% RANDOMIZE CLIENT SEED: yes DO NOT REFRESH: yes Here is a pic of the settings Anything else doesn't matter. Make sure the boxes are checked for the above options. With this strat, I've won positive on one account, about .000077 BTC, and I've only played 5 or 6 times, at less than 2-3 minutes of play time a session. STRAT #2 Good for accounts with a low balance. I've had a surprising amount of luck with this method, enough so that I thought I'd post it here with an update. This could work well for accounts with less than 1k Satoshi, as a losing streak wouldn't be a huge loss. For this strat, you should have at least 189 Satoshi in your account. BET: Minimum amount ODDS/WIN CHANCE: 189 or %0.5 ROLLS: 189 (remains the same no matter if you bet more) BET ON: High or Low, but not Alternate. STOP BETTING ON PROFIT: Minimum amount, once again, you want continuous small wins UPDATE: Conducting more tests for viability I played these settings 10 times, I came out positive 8/10 times. In the end I was positive 433 Satoshi total with selecting "hi". On selecting "low" I went positive 5/10 losing 525 Satoshi. On selecting "hi" and betting 10 Satoshi, I went positive 3/10 times losing 9708 Satoshi. On selecting "high" and betting 100 Satoshi, I never went positive, 0/10. Losing 189000 Satoshi (~15$ USD). There does seem to be a pattern of losing more when betting more. Like anything gambling, there's probably a house advantage that's not too transparent. Win small lose small. Pic of these settings STRAT #3 Another strategy I've tried is betting most of my balance once occasionally with a 94.06% chance of winning. This is, eh, alright to risk OCCASIONALLY, but a loss would set you back more than you ever made using this strategy, which happened to me, I lost about 40 USD worth of BTC after making maybe 5 USD. THIS METHOD IS GREAT FOR MEETING NON-CAPTCHA ACCOUNT REQUIREMENTS! Playing this in auto roll, out of 20 rolls I'd always lose at least once, putting me into the negative. Even with 10 rolls, I'd more often then not lose at least once. Pic of these settings There are other strats out there, such as the "Martingale", which is essentially doubling the bet amount every loss, then resetting your bet to minimum after a win to in theory "win back what you lost". At 47.5% odds of winning, I've had loss streaks that would drain my account. My summary for Multiply, use sparingly. Don't use it as your primary means of earning. Use once or twice daily, limit play sessions to 5 minutes max. ⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹ 7️⃣AUTOMATION7️⃣ 📝NOTE: FREEBITCO.IN captcha requirements seem to be tiered, with requirements for Captcha free upscaling when you BTC holding passes a certain threshold. I'm currently testing, as is another team member (Shout out to u/SrExtreme69) , what exactly these thresholds, if holding at these thresholds increases the length of Captcha free rolls, and at what amount does FREEBITCO.IN no longer require these to be met.📝 📝NOTE: To start automating, remember to verify email and setup 2FA or the Captcha will still appear even if your account meets Captcha free requirements. Check the site occasionally as Captcha free roll requirements can change. After certain held BTC amount you don't need to renew your requirements. I haven't had to achieve new requirements in over a month.📝 📝NOTE: You may need to manually roll for a bit until the the ability to achieve a Captcha free account becomes available. It doesn't show at first.📝 📝NOTE: It's very difficult, if not impossible to automate on iOS devices. First of all, getting to this point can be a grind, but once achieved you'll have a steady flow of BTC with options to increase earnings through rewards claims using RP. I would suggest going to your PROFILE tab on FREEBITCO.IN and disabling lottery to increase RP production when starting out. Using other apps or resources to supplement income is a good idea as well. On the FREE BTC page, there is a blue text hyperlink with requirements that need to be met to make your account captcha free, thus allowing you to enable autoroll on extensions or apps. It has multiple ways to achieve this and they can change, so if your autoroll has stopped, check to see if these requirements have changed. Here are the requirements. (Amounts vary) It seems only two of these requirements need to be met. The less risky and easiest method is to buy lottery tickets and bet with jackpots on. Even better is depositing bitcoin if you have that amount. The POSSIBLY least expensive method is to bet both regularly and with Jackpots enabled on MULTIPLY (for higher amounts required, IMO Multiplier strat #3 works best) ⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹ 8️⃣OPTIMIZATION AND USE OF FREEBITCO.IN8️⃣ For computers I would suggest using Firefox, as you can add functions and tools to your bar up top. One of the being a "auto roll" for FREEBITCO.IN, still requires a "captcha free" account. Turn it on and let go, check it occasionally to make sure its still going. Autoroll firefox add-on link My link again for ease of access Not my preferred method, but good for a second account, as using a computer means devoting more attention to FREEBITCO.IN in an inconvenient manner if you are just starting out. After Captcha has been removed, this becomes more hands free, but not as profitable as using bitbot, as you can't autoclaim RP rewards. I haven't tried many methods besides using Firefox addons, as I'm wary of sources or intent when it comes to 3rd party scripts or programs. If I find any trustworthy scripts or programs, I will update here. For Mobile 🛑BITBOT WARNING, IF YOU USE BITBOT TO ACCESS FREEBITCO.IN BEFORE USING MY REFERRAL, YOU WILL BE REFERRED THROUGH BITBOT, AND THEY DON'T SHARE COMMISSIONS AS FAR AS I CAN TELL🛑 My Link again 📝NOTE: iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) do not have access to BitBot, nor do they allow extensions/add-ons on their browsers. I have not personally found a way around this. You may still access the site and manually roll.📝 I use BitBot. This is the best place to start from IMO. You can set it to notify you of rolls and gives direct access to the site from the app (you can also access the site from any device with internet). Once your account is "captcha free" you can set it to auto roll AND automatically claim rewards every 24 hours (RP increase, BTC increase, Lottery ticket Increase). 📝NOTE: Bitbot allows auto roll from the app for accounts over 500 RP. This isn't permanent, as it uses your RP. You'll need to log onto the website through a browser to achieve captch free account requirements, which Bitbot does recognize, which allow completely free rolls.📝 📝NOTE: Accessing FREEBITCO.IN through BitBot doesn't allow access to the Hi-Lo or betting games.📝 ⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹ 9️⃣STRATS TO INCREASE EARNINGS9️⃣ Bitbot optimization I started manual claims by setting roll notifications to "ON" for a while until I supplemented my BTC in FREEBITCO.IN with what I was collecting from my miner and CryptoTab. Once I was able to AUTOMATE and I had enough RP to claim the RP BONUS, I set it to do that automatically every 24 hours as this nets more RP than you spend (EG, 100 RP roll bonus costs 1200 RP, but can net 2400 RP if claimed every hour). Eventually you accrue enough RP to claim the %1000 BTC bonus, probably at a rate of once or twice a week. My current BitBot settings now that its auto claiming, I have the 24 hour auto bonus claiming 100 RP roll bonus and 100% claim bonus, spending a total of 1520 RP, but I'm making 2400 RP with the RP bonus, leaving me 780 RP in the positive each day. Every now and then I'll stop the auto bonus claim so I can buy the 1000% claim bonus (3200 RP). So on a normal day I'll make about 1344 Satoshi. Bitbot auto bonus settings Once your accrue more referrals, or save enough RP, it's possible to claim the 1000% BTC roll bonus multiple days in a row. This is just about as optimal as you can get for auto rolling. Self Referrals If you have two devices (phone and computer preferably) you can make two accounts as long as one uses a different wifi or internet connection, as the roll rewards tracks IP addresses for roll counts. So if you have 2 devices on the same network, it sudo links accounts, so if you roll on one, it restarts the timer on the other. This allows you to collect referral rewards from yourself. Effectively adding 25% of interest and 50% roll rewards. I currently have a phone autorolling on BitBot with a computer autorolling on Firefox with a tool to roll automatically as long as the page remains open. My computer account is referred from my mobile account, and is currently bringing in an extra .000015+ BTC weekly (currently, total will be this Sunday and I will update). I've also made another account on my partners phone, linked it with bitbot and got it auto-rolling. Once bitbot is going, its non-invasive and you can silence notifications, it also uses minimal data. Supplementing with CryptoTab I'll use CryptoTab on my computer 24/7 to earn BTC from that while I have FREEBITCO.IN running. I also have it running on my phone at night when I sleep and on an iPad I have that I don't use much, its server mining, so no worries about battery on mobile devices. On computers it does actually use your processing power. You can directly deposit into you FREEBITCO.IN accounts. CryptoTab Link I've used it for two weeks and have earned a total of .000454 BTC (3.60$ USD). Not huge, but enough to start collecting interest on FREEBITCO.IN and to get the capthca free account requirements. Supplementing with Cointiply 🛑WARNING: Cointiply's main currency is the constant, weighted against the dollar (10,000 coin/1USD). This means your actually BTC holdings will fluctuate with BTC's price. For this reason, it's my strong opinion that DON'T HODL in Cointiply as you're not holding actual BTC.🛑 Cointiply is a great site to earn decent amounts of COIN which translate to SAT's. Earn coin, withdraw to FREEBITCO.IN (as you actually hold BTC in cointiply). I also use an ASIC miner (Antminer s9i, DIY liquid cooled and overclocked with BixBit firmware), and whatever I earn I'll put that into FREEBITCO.IN to collect interest. If you want, I may be willing to do a rental. ⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹ 1️⃣0️⃣ADVERTISING YOUR LINK1️⃣0️⃣ 📝NOTE: Since this faucet has been around a while, many people privy to sites such as this are already signed up. So getting referrals can be a slog. My tips for your ads is be genuine and don't hard sell or post "too good to be true" sensational ads.📝 COINTIPLY This is another faucet. Its structure is a bit different from FREEBITCO.IN, as you complete offers to earn coin. Within this site (also an app) users can earn coins by doing PTC ads (and other offers), this is a good method to get exposure as you can advertise as well. Using this method my traffic for last week as about 800 people. 13000 coins buys about 1000 "clicks" on your ads. They also have options to advertise to people based on location (these options will increase or decrease cost). After your first ad, you usually get a 10% off coupon good for 7 days as well. You can earn this amount within a day doing surveys on Theorem. I've done surveys before, and this has to be one of the best surveys sights I've ever done. Very rarely do I get kicked out mid survey, and if I do, I still get partial pay. I will also use "Hideout" on my computer and leave it running. It has to be the open tab on your browser, with the browser open, not minimized. Let it go and check it occasionally as it has a timeout at roughly 2-3 hrs idle. As of now this is the best passive method of earning on Cointiply. PI NETWORK Pi Network, an ICO (Initial coin offering) based on trust and social media is another good medium for advertising. I will usually see 15-20 people click on my link with 2-4 ads posted per day. Just go to "chat", select "random" and post an ad in the chat channel. No charge. My tip, keep your ads short to medium in length, don't spam. XYO NETWORK/COIN APP This is another crypto earned through "geo-mining". On the "coin" app you can do a "geodrop" where you can leave a note. Just click on the box with a parachute icon, select "any" on the "Tile" selection. Leave your ad in the "note" section. It costs 10 "COIN" at the very least to do a "geodrop". This method may not be worth it if you aren't already involved in the program. To earn a substantial amount of coin, you'll need a subscription or a "sentinel". Sentinels can actually be purchased for under 20$ nowadays (depending on site) and is the best option to earn. Without these you'll only make approx .05-.18 coin every 30 seconds if you're actively moving. My tips if you plan on advertising on this platform, once again keep it short, and only advertise around 7-9am and 4-6pm, as this will be peak mining hours with people driving to and from work. ⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹ 1️⃣1️⃣LINKS1️⃣1️⃣ My FREEBITCO.IN Referral Link What is a Satoshi? I've spent the last couple months figuring out a good strategy to generate some passive cryptocurrency without investing money before a big bull-run starts. As Bitcoin is still fairly low, but cryptos have been risen again in the last weeks, it's best to get in now. I don't have very much time, so I examinated the best-working websites with the littlest time investment and the highest result possible. Disclaimer: This will be a long post and I'll tell you all the sites I use and how my strategy works. Use it as an inspiration and develop your own working strategy. Skip stuff that doesn't seem to be worth your time or websites you don't like. If you don't like to use a referral-link, just remove the last part of the link. Most websites will give you a bonus when signing up with a ref-link, though and I would appreciate it for the effort I put in this guide. I assume you have some basic knowledge on cryptocurrencies, a wallet and accounts on Faucethub and Coinpot. So, let's get started. Step 1: Claim once a day from stacking up faucets If you're familiar with faucets, you probably know the moon-faucets that pay directly to Coinpot. They keep stacking up until your next claim, so they are the best and highest-paying faucets if you want to keep your time claiming as little as possible. I suggest you use them at least once a day to accumulate the daily bonus that will really change your game. I do a quick claiming round once in the morning and once in the evening. If you have more time, they are also really worth being claimed more often. For the sake of completion I will include them here: Moonbitcoin for Bitcoin Moonlitecoin for Litecoin Moonbitcoincash for Bitcoin Cash Moondash for Dash Moondogecoin for Dogecoin Bitfun stacking up Bitcoin-faucet that pays instantly to Coinpot Two new exact clones of the Moonfaucets that pay instantly to Faucethub with no minimum. They also have daily bonus: Getcoin Bitcoin for Bitcoin Getcoin Litecoin for Litecoin And the last stacking up faucet for BTC: Yannik.biz So yeah, try to claim them at least once a day to maintain your daily bonus. The bonus can really be a game changer on these ones. Claiming them all will take no more than 5-10 minutes every day. Step 2: Receive daily interest on your faucet claims! Send your Bitcoin to Freebitcoin and receive daily interest on your balance once you have more than 30000 Satoshis (shouldn't take too long if you put in some effort in the beginning). You can also use the website as a faucet once a hour. It is actually paying well. If you use my link to sign up a new account you will receive life-long +12,5% on your daily interest and +25% on all your claims. If you already have an account, just create a new one with this link and delete your old one as this ref-back-bonus will give you a decent boost on your earnings. Freebitcoin is one of the oldest and most trusted website in the crypto scene! Step 3: Claim even more cryptos once you have some spare time Highest-paying sites I found where you can claim every hour along with Freebitcoin are these: Cointiply: very high paying and they also give you daily interest, but are tied to USD-rates, so you're better off withdrawing your satoshis to Freebitcoin once you reached minimum withdrawal as you would lose satoshis if BTC price continues to rise. Freedogecoin: Same as Freebitcoin, but with less functions. Bitsfree: New website with cool design where you can claim once a hour and withdraw to Faucethub at a fairly low amount. Pays pretty well. Claimbits: Same script as Bitsfree, but pays a bit less and you have to solve three shortlinks once in a while to be able to claim. It's still worth participating in. Remember: On every claim on these websites you have the chance to win a big amount of cash. So try to use them as often as possible. Unlike the stacking up faucets, with the exception of Cointiply, they don't have a daily bonus, so it's no problem if you ignore them for a while. Bonusbitcoin: Claim a good amount of satoshis every 15 minutes. Instant payments to Coinpot again. Click high-paying ads on AdBtc and Dogeads. Another good website for high-paying BTC-ads is Bits-Pays. Use websites where you can do surveys and all kinds of stuff to earn money that also pay in cryptocurrency. The best website I found that is similar to Swagbucks and has the option to pay cryptos is probably Grindabuck. Claim your daily bonus at Firefaucet, collect some Autoclaims during the week and run it during the happy hours on the weekend to get most of it. Instant payments to Faucethub. Step 4: Use semi-passive methods with crypto farming games There are some crypto games out there that have the ability to build you a decent chunk of passive income after a while. The sites require small tasks you do to earn crypto or credits which you can re-invest in stuff that will generate passive income for you. It takes some effort upfront, but once set up they will passively pay you with no additional effort. Here are my favorites: Satoshi-Labs: Claim from a faucet every 5 minutes, do surveys and shortlinks and re-invest your earnings in buildings that will generate satoshis for you every hour. Cryptomininggame: Play a simulated mining game and do missions to level up. As you level up, your earnings increase. This site has a high stacking up daily bonus and can be very profitable once you get to a high level. Bits-Pays: Has several options to earn passive income. You can play their mining game or buy company shares that will give you dividends. It has a lot of attractive offers for advertisers and very high paying ads and daily bonus, too! Bitcoinfun: This is a new website that works the exact same as satoshilabs. Once you're into satoshilabs you will also get Bitcoinfun. I see a lot of potential for this website. Step 5: Fully passive methods So yeah, let's come to the best part. There are options that require no effort at all! Let's go. I've already written about sending my satoshis to Freebitcoin for daily interest, but what you can also do is sending some cryptos to Eobot. They are probably the only legit Cloudmining platform out there that has been paying since 2013. You can also claim some GHS there every 24 hours if you set Mining to GHS 5.0. first, which is cool. I like to send some of my altcoins like Doge and Bitcoin Cash to them and convert them in GHS to earn passive Satoshis. You have probably heart it a thousand times on this sub, but you can also earn Bitcoin by using the two legit autosurfers that pay in Bitcoin by now. This is a fully passive method, just run them whenever you're online. Getcashfree and Fastcashmining. Another fully passive website planning to add crypto-payments soon is Radioearn. Use browser extensions that will automatically generate money for you just for using them: Presearch: This is probably the best search engine I've ever seen. After installing it will be opened every time you open a new tab. You can customize it, so you can choose from searching via Google, Amazon, Reddit, Wikipedia and much more without accessing the websites first. This is very comfortably and the best part about it: You earn Pre-Tokens for every search, which you can later exchange for BTC. Surfe.be: A browser extension that shows you some Banners while surfing the web and pays you some money for it. You can disable it at any time and it isn't over-present at all when surfing (I barely notice the banners). Claim every 24 hours from Mellowads and use it to advertise your ref-links. You can also promote your ref-links on AdBTC, Bits-Pays and DogeAds. Having referrals is another good way to generate some passive income. Sign up for Mannabase. This is a cool project that aims to create some sort of crypto Universal Basic Income for everyone. After signing up you will need to verify your identity and once they accept you, you'll receive free Manna every week. You can then exchange Manna for BTC or USD. As they have a lot of pending approvals, expect it to take 1-2 months before they accept you. Conclusion So yeah, that's basically my main sources and my strategy and I treat it as some sort of site-business. If I am lazy, I spend no more than 10-15 minutes a day to claim the stacking up faucets and daily bonuses on websites and receive my daily interest, payments from Eobot, crypto games and browser extensions anyway. It's really cool to watch your balances, bonus and interest grow over time and who knows? 1$ in Crypto could be 30$ of Crypto in the future. Use this guide as an inspiration to develop your own strategy of acquiring as many Cryptos for free as you can. For me these websites work the best. And I tested a lot of websites. Additional tips: Use different passwords on the websites and write them all down. It can be a hassle memorizing several passwords. Also create a separate e-mail-address for all the crypto websites. To make it easier handling all the websites, group them in a document e.q. all 1 hour faucets, all stacking up faucets and add links, so you can quickly access them when you want to use this particular group of websites. Be patient at first, your earnings will increase over time. Feel free to ask me anything, have fun and happy claiming! :)

Mturk is a platform that allows clients to post a large number of jobs. It is a bit more professional than the typical /beermoney site. You work for "requesters" and they can approve or reject your submitted tasks, also known as HITs. You can earn a lot more money on this site than other typical /beermoney sites, but you need to pay attention to which jobs you accept. Not all HITs pay well. They do require some sensitive information from you for tax purposes. Not everyone gets approved to work here, and some people will be approved months or years after being rejected. — Payment Proof. *This site is international, but most of the tasks are only available for the USA. International users can only redeem Amazon.com balance.
↪ Age minimum: 18 ↪ Offers: A large number of tasks including Surveys, Transcription, Translation, Website Testing, Data Entry and much more. ↪ Payout: [Minimum $0.01] Amazon.com Balance and Amazon Payments Balance. Amazon Payments Balance can be transferred to a bank account. Note: All Amazon Balance is for the USA Amazon.com website regardless of your country. ↪ Referral Incentive: None TIPS: • Only do HITs that pay at least 10¢/minute. This gives you a rate of $6/hour. Mturk crowd forum and /hitsworthturkingfor are good places to check for higher paying HITs. • It is better to return a HIT than to submit to if you are unsure whether the requester will approve it. Returning a HIT will not negatively affect you, but a rejection will. • Scripts are allowed and encouraged. Checked /mturk for more tips and suggestions.
UserTesting is a usability testing site. You get paid to record your screen and speak aloud while performing a number of specified tasks. These tasks are generally related to testing a website or an app, but some tests may have you complete a survey, play a game, test new software, etc. At the start you may receive $3 sample tests, but after a while you will see $10 unmoderated tests. Moderated tests start at $30 per test, and usually require you to have a webcam. Payment arrives via PayPal exactly 7 days after your test is completed. — Payment Proof. *The site is International, but most earning opportunities are for US, UK, CA and AU.
↪ Age minimum: 18 ↪ Offers: Usability testing ↪ Payout: [Minimum: None] PayPal ↪ Referral Incentive: None. TIPS: • Completing the unpaid surveys at the top may qualify you for additional tests. • Make sure to follow instructions carefully, keep talking, and be professional. Keeping a high quality rating is essential if you want to receive plenty of tests.

Cash, prepaid cards, gift cards, and EBT are not eligible forms of payment. • You only have 4 hours to make your gas or restaurant purchase after claiming the offer. Grocery offers have 24 hours. All receipts must be scanned within 24 hours from when you claim the offer.
Cash Back From Shopping Online
These sites give cash back on your online purchases. Online purchases require you to click their affiliate link prior to shopping. Ebates US has in-store offers as well. In-store purchases require you to link a debit/credit card and to active the offer prior to shopping. Most of these sites are International, but your shopping opportunities may be limited, and you will only get paid in the associated currency. — Ebates Payment Proof.
TIPS: • Make sure to click on the "Shop Now" or “Get Cashback” button before adding items to your cart. Otherwise, your shopping trip may not count. • You can only use one shopping portal per shopping trip. Sites to Avoid: Definitely DO NOT post these.
✖ Earnsanity — Shady owner, sketchy site. Held giveaway and then refunded the prizes after it was over. History of scamming many others. AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED. ✖ Paidverts — Shady owner, sketchy site. Keeps doing debt swaps (cash to BAP). Do not post. ✖ Neobux — It isn’t really a scam, but they operate as a pyramid scheme. There’s money to be made online, but it’s definitely not there. ✖ MarketGlory — It does pay out, but the pay is absolutely ridiculous. The only way to make a decent amount of money is to have a lot of referrals, and referral whoring on this subreddit WILL result in a permanent ban. ✖ MindSumo — Not actually a /beermoney site. It’s only spam in this sub. ✖ G2A — Scam/sells stolen keys. ✖ Robinhood — This is spammed on our sub constantly. ✖ Quickthoughts — Many reports of people being banned when trying to withdraw as of 10/2018. Do your due diligence before possibly wasting your time on this app. ✖ Sites with $100+ minimum — These sites usually offer higher than normal payments for simple tasks, with a high minimum to cash out. They are always scams. ✖ Generic news sites that pay you ridiculous amounts to read an article (two euros??) — Common sense should take care of this, but in case it doesn’t, it’s always a scam. The site is usually hosted somewhere in Eastern Europe, and you will never get paid. ✖ Free bitcoin sites/"faucets" (THIS INCLUDES QOINPRO) — This is not referring to those video-viewing/task sites (although they’re still paying fragments of a penny). I’m talking about sites that give you 0.000001BTC to fill a captcha (freebitco.in, dailybitcoins). Admittedly many beermoney sites pay low, but don’t even bother with these. Also: Bitcoin mining is NO LONGER PROFITABLE. If you're really so keen on getting bitcoins, doing so through an exchange is your best option. Here are a few more scam sites and sketchy sites.

This is my experience on #Coinpot. https://preview.redd.it/igahkh49w7g11.png?width=536&format=png&auto=webp&s=f48ee71fdb9f029d07e5de31cb429ae396354c41 #Coinpot is a microwallet with attached 7 faucets for #Bitcoin #Litecoin #Doge #Dash #bitcoincash I also used the #Coinpot Wallet to deposit small amounts of cryptocurrencies obtained with difficulty by other websites. The service has always been impeccable and the withdrawals were processed in the time they indicated. I state that from faucet I do 3 or 4 claims a day for reasons of time. Then I go on vacation. Having more time available I have increased the claims, resolving the chaptcha and even clicking on some banners looking for new opportunities. Well, you will not believe it, they suspended my bill, canceling a withdrawal of 1000 doge, which by the way had been deposited on the wallet from another site !!! My Doge !!!! Cancelled withdraw ( I was puzzled and upset. But I did not lose heart. I followed the instructions and sent an email to the support, trusting in their answer in the terms they indicate. 48 hours. Many hours went by, and the coinpot lords did not deign to answer. https://preview.redd.it/h7vit3jyv7g11.png?width=1237&format=png&auto=webp&s=a4112c74c6119d75b41872b0bfa31308538b2b55 https://preview.redd.it/9ibgv6izv7g11.png?width=1984&format=png&auto=webp&s=21955dd3ac1d91ee55f04d139ad28f5d0c1f6ad8 So on the one hand they require correctness, on the other hand they bribe randomly and do not respond to emails (4 in total !!) I am continuing to make my few daily claims not to lose the daily bonuses, but frankly I am disappointed by the behavior of the coinpot staff. Summing up: 1) I do not have multiple accounts 2) I have no ref 3) never used bot 4) I make claims as happens from home, work or cellular pc (moonbitcoin in particular because the antivirus blocks the mining script that starts automatically ... and then I would be fraudulent !!) 5) when I was on vacation I increased the number of claims per day. Result: Account suspended and no reply to emails (are the terms of service only valid for us?) I do not know what to think! I am still confident that they will give me an answer!
A Non-Comprehensive List of some Passive Beermoney Sites
Non-Comprehensive because it's certainly not a complete list; I'm sure there are more I don't know about! Hello fellow Beermoney earners! For the past few months I've been searching for ways to earn money passively (or as passively as possible). This guide will not cover any kind of Bitcoin/Dogecoin/etc. Mining, faucets, etc. Thus far, I would say I've been pretty successful. I'm not rich and I'm not making hundreds, but the methods I'll outline below are pretty much little/no effort beyond getting set up. I'll provide payment proofs to any of the methods below if you ask for them, if available. I will mention but not elaborate on the common/already well known methods, as we already get enough of that and I won't contribute to the spam. The following sites are in no particular order. I'll also happily answer any questions, but I ask that you at least explore the site and try to find things before asking me what to do. NOTE: I know I'm going to get at least one person saying "Not worth it, power bills, electricity, global warming, illuminati, etc. etc. etc.". I'd like to stop that person right here and tell them that yes, in theory, this could cost you more in power than it could make you. If you don't pay for your power, then it's irrelevant. If you DO pay for your power, then you can use these methods only when your computer would normally be on and the problem pretty much goes away. If your computer is always on anyways, only the CPU-renting methods will likely have any impact on your power bills (if any). I would rather not debate this. If you feel that it's not worth it, you're welcome to not try any of these. INTERNATIONAL NOTE: I believe that all of these except for Qmee, Perk TV and Bing Rewards, are international, at least partially. I could be wrong, and if anybody knows I'm wrong please let me know and I will make edits as necessary. eBesucher ---- Non-ref is a passive surfbar site, and one I've been using the longest. Simply open a surfbar tab and let it go. eBesucher also created a small program called the "Restarter" that will monitor your surfbar tab in whatever browser you choose and restart the browser if the surfbar stops (due to frambreakers, shitty site scripts, etc.). Other than that, it requires no input. Run this in whatever browser you don't use; it works in Firefox, Chrome, IE, and Safari. If you use Firefox, it also comes with an extension that will monitor your surfbar and give you double points when you hit a framebreaker site, but I've found it doesn't work as well as the Restarter at fixing the surfbar when you run over faulty scripts. eBesucher requires no attention checks and is 100% automated. You can also get a few cents for reading mails sent to your in-site Inbox (or actual email inbox if you choose). Minimum payout is 2 Euro, PayPal (and some others) accepted. Payout is manual. 4PTP ---- Non-ref is a Pay-to-Promote site, one of the only ones I've found that pays anything worthwhile. Simply send traffic to your link (however you'd like to do that, such as HitLeap (which I will mention below)) and you'll rack up points which convert to cash every 6 hours. Note that this site DOES accept traffic from traffic exchanges, etc., but be aware that your promote link is a very "intense" site; there's a lot of frames of activity and some traffic exchanges may not like that. Beyond Hitleap, it might take a few tries to find one that works. Minimum payout is $2, to PayPal and others. Payout is manual. NOTE: It is normal for a large amount of your traffic to not be counted. I don't know why this is, but it might be a side effect of traffic exchanges (or things like AdBlock, no java, etc.). Also NOTE: 4PTP might be rejected by Hitleap. If this happens, just wait a little while and try again. I had it rejected after working fine for almost a month, and I just resubmitted it a day later and it was fine. Ysear.ch ---- Non-refEDIT: They WILL eventually ban you if you don't use HitLeap premium, so if you don't have it, I wouldn't recommend this anymore. is a link monetizer (like Adf.ly). Shorten links, have people click those links, get money. Normally that would be a very slow process, but Ysear.ch works with Hitleap (again, I'll explain below). I want to note that while I and some others have been paid, you might end up banned, especially if you don't have a Premium Hitleap account so you can use randomized or directed traffic. Be aware of this. When using Ysear.ch for Hitleap, make sure your shortened ads are "Framed Banner", not "Interstitial" (under More Options, when shrinking your link). Payouts are automatic on the 6th of each month. I think the minimum is $2.50. Hitleap ---- Non-ref is a pretty well-known traffic exchange site, so I won't go too much into it (PM me if you need more info, though). Submit your link(s) from sites like 4PTP and Ysear.ch and run the Hitleap Viewer as often as possible to rack up minutes, which will automatically be spent on directing traffic to your links. I personally use 15 seconds for all of my links, but I imagine you could get away with 11 or 12; adding a few seconds helps make sure the site loads. Upgrading to Premium can be worth it, and lets you add more links and spoof the traffic source. Your choice. LinkCollider is another traffic exchange site. (Note: I didn't include a referral link because I don't think it matters unless someone buys something.) This one is a bit different from Hitleap, but works in pretty much the same way. Submit your links (up to 3), and then do activities such as autosurf, manual surf, "Like" FB pages, Retweet things, etc. to build up coins which are automatically spent on having your sites viewed, Liked, Shared, etc.. I personally turn off all social media for my links, since I'm pretty sure it will be wasted compared to just getting raw views to your website. The interface might be a little confusing at first, but it only takes a little exploring to get the hang of it. Qmee ---- Non-ref is very well known in this subreddit so I'll be very brief for the couple of people who might not know- Download extension, click ads that show up when you search on Google, Amazon, eBay, and Bing, and cashout to Paypal. No minimum amount. I have found that your earnings decrease over time if you click the ads and do not interact with them, and/or click a lot of ads for the same search. Try not to abuse the system by obviously searching for things you have no interest in, as I think the system is actually kind of smart and might pick up on that. I could be wrong though. This method is not 100% passive but requires very little effort. Slicify ---- Non-ref is a CPU rental service. Download their control panel (and Oracle VMBox, which comes with it) and your computer will automatically have its processing rented out. Save yourself the time and check that your computer can operate virtual machines (Slicify can help you determine this). You get paid for every hour your computer is being rented, from .01/hr and up. When your computer is being rented, it will likely take up a lot of memory and processing (though you can customize how much of your system's resources you're renting out) so if you want to do stuff like play games, turn this off while you're doing it. You can also set up a schedule so it will only run when you wouldn't be using your computer anyways. Minimum payout is $5, manually to PayPal. If you have access to multiple computers (I strongly recommend desktop only unless your laptop has excellent cooling/ventilation), you can run this on multiple machines. GomezPeerZone ---- Non-ref is another CPU renting application. You can run it concurrently with Slicify, though if both are going at once it will probably eat a lot of resources. A major note here is that you are not earning with GomezPeer from day 1. You have to be approved, and this takes an undetermined amount of time, during which you need to run the software and you lose your earnings each month. Once you do get approved, you'll earn automatically and get any earnings you made in the month you were approved. I believe payouts are automatic, to PayPal. You can also run this on multiple machines at once. MQL5 Cloud Strategy Testing Agent (no referrals as far as I know) is a minor CPU "renting" service. Download their program, sign up with MQL5, and then open up some testing agents (the download site will provide instructions). You won't make much with this, maybe up to 60 cents a month, but it is 100% passive, non-invasive, and takes up little/no resources. Payout is to Paypal, no minimum but it does take a small commission. You can run this on multiple machines. ScreenwiseTrends Panel (no referrals) is similar to Synapster in that it tracks your browser usage; this one is run by Google who is already monitoring everything you do and every piss you take anyways. You get $1 per week your computer is active (plus $.50 for a tablet and $.50 for a smartphone, if applicable) with the Chrome extension. Payout is at $25, so this is a slow earner. Like above, if you're not cool with being monitored like this, feel free to skip over it. Perk TV ---- Non-ref is a video-watching app similar to Swagbucks TV available on iOS and Android; Perk also has other apps you can use for rewards. This has gotten the rounds on the subreddit recently, so I'll be brief: Watch app trailers and earn points. PerkTV automatically loops the videos endlessly, no attention checks needed. Minimum payout is a $2 Amazon giftcard at 2500 points. There's a lot of other gift cards at the $5 level if you so choose. You can get $5 to PayPal for 9000 points but it is really not worth it. At all. Some would consider Apptrailers (iOS, Android) to be passive, if you don't mind pressing "OK" and "Play" every 30-45 seconds for half a cent each. I did do this for a while, like when watching Netflix, but I prefer the video apps like Perk TV and SBTV now. You're welcome to do this. Peko (iOS) is also passive, kinda-sorta. It's a weird little app that pays you to play a silly little game with people. You can idly spam the "Peko me!" emote in the Scramble Match room until you get "Peko'd", play the games, and then cash out at the minimum of $10. I did this a lot; cashed out about 6 times, and then got absolutely sick of it and stopped. I might pick it up again, but it's what I would consider passive in theory. Bing Rewards I also do Bing Rewards using a bot. If you don't know about Bing Rewards, check out the "Most Commonly Posted Beermoney Sites" sticky and sign up from there. It's not 100% passive, but it's close. The bot I use and recommend is "The BingR", made by a reddit user whose name escapes me, but it's an excellent bot that acts very human-like and even automates the daily bonus activities and mobile searches. Swagbucks I also also use the SBTV app and do the auto-running Swagbucks Activities on a second computer or browser (with Chrome, you can run the activity and then minimize out of the browser and it will still run; this doesn't seem to work with Firefox). If you don't know about Swagbucks, also check out the Sticky. This is also not 100% passive, but it pays pretty well. The auto-run activities have a white circle with a blue arrow and play button in the lower left-hand corner of the picture. These will run on their own and require no input beyond clicking. If you can't get them to run while minimized, you'll need to keep the window open with your mouse in the active part of the screen. I'm always looking for new passive income streams; the less work, the better! If you're going to recommend a surfbar, it can't require any attention checks and preferably it should run in-browser and not on top of windows like some require.
Greetings /beermoney! A few months ago I created this guide as a way to show some passive ways to earn beermoney. My old guide is a little antiquated, so here's an updated version with new methods to earn! (For those of you who might have already read this guide, most of the old stuff is copy-pasted to save lots of time) I'm still always looking for new passive ways to earn, so if you know of any please let me know! If you're looking for passive ways to earn on your mobile Android device, I cover them here: An Updated Guide to Android Beermoney This guide will not cover any kind of Bitcoin/Dogecoin/etc. Mining, faucets, etc. I'll provide payment proofs to any of the methods below if you ask for them, if available. The following sites are in no particular order. I'll also happily answer any questions, but I ask that you at least explore the site/app and try to find things before asking me what to do. INTERNATIONAL NOTE: The following are not international: Qmee, Bing Rewards, MXWRK eBesucher ---- Non-ref ---- 2.10euros per month, give or take is a passive surfbar site, and one I've been using the longest. 4PTP ---- Non-ref ---- $2-5 per month* is a Pay-to-Promote site, one of the only ones I've found that pays anything worthwhile. Qmee ---- Non-ref ---- Varies too much to give a good estimate is very well known in this subreddit so I'll be very brief for the couple of people who might not know- Download extension, click ads that show up when you search on Google, Amazon, eBay, and Bing, and cashout to Paypal. GomezPeerZone ---- Non-ref ---- $6.30 per month, give or take is another CPU renting application. MXWRK ---- Non-ref ---- $.10-20 per day used to be a task-crowdsourcing site like mTurk, but recently revamped into a passive earner with optional tasks for extra cash. You download their toolbar (Firefox only) and let it run. The longer it runs, the more you get. It will alert you of new tasks that pay $.05-$.10 each and are pretty quick to do. If you do plan to use this and Firefox is your main browser, look up a guide for setting up secondary profiles and run the MXWRK toolbar in that profile in a separate instance of Firefox; you can't have Adblock running with MXWRK. They pay out to PayPal every day. MQL5 Cloud Strategy Testing Agent ---- Like $.60 per month, lol (no referrals as far as I know) is a minor CPU "renting" service. ScreenwiseTrends Panel ---- $6.00 per month (1 computer 1 phone) (no referrals) tracks your browser usage; this one is run by Google who is already monitoring everything you do and every piss you take anyways. You get $1 per week your computer is active (plus $.50 for a tablet and $.50 for a smartphone, if applicable) with the Chrome extension. Payout is at $25, so this is a slow earner. If you're not cool with being monitored like this, feel free to skip over it. Once you order your reward, it will take 6 weeks to reach you, so don't be alarmed. Bing Rewards ($25-40 in AGC) I also do Bing Rewards using a bot. Swagbucks ($30+ in AGC) can be 90%+ passive, and you can still earn plenty per day! I wrote a (similarly long) guide, which you can view right here, at this shameless plug. If you find that guide useful and you aren't already a member of Swagbucks, I would appreciate if you used my referral (you'll have to PM me), but otherwise use the one in the Sticky. Please note that this guide is out of date and I don't plan on updating it right now. I'm always looking for new passive income streams; the less work, the better! If you're going to recommend a surfbar, it can't require any attention checks and preferably it should run in-browser and not on top of windows like some require.
Hey guys, so we've obviously had an recent debacle occur in the community but the fact of the matter remains that Vertcoin is seeing faster levels of growth. We've been accepted on Mintpal, were seeing higher volumes exchanged and the community is starting to blossom. The currency itself is beginning to mature, and the recent press release I think shows that we can still do a lot to help inform people of what we are doing. What is important now is that we continue to innovate and ensure the upward trend we are currently experiencing. How can this be done? There needs to be a shift in terms of the marketing of this currency from one which is focused on developers and 'tech-savvy' people to one which understands the needs and aspirations of the general public. Before I delve into some of my ideas, as Jay Z would say, "Allow me to reintroduce myself". I am someone who had been interested in technology from an early age and who has relatively in depth knowledge about computing and technology. I'm an economics student currently working as a designer for my University while also studying there. I'm also getting involved with a number of different non-crypto related startups. I've been active in the world of cryptocurrency from the beginning of this year but I've heard about it for a number of years, just never made the jump due to a lack of workable knowledge and technical barriers. Starting with a relatively large investment in Bitcoin, I split my portfolio into Litecoin initially, then progressing to Vertcoin soon after its inception. What drew me to this currency in particular was the clear focus from the developers on the long term sustainability of the coin. As someone who entered the arena relatively late and who may have got swept up by some unsubstantiated hype (Coinye anyone?) what I wanted was a currency which had a clear direction in terms of the future. Innovations such as the ACIS resistance and merge mining are examples of the attempts to strive for longevity. In terms of branding I believe there is something here which potentially could be made mass marketable. From the name, to the logo and then the general styling, its clear that this is a currency that as well as leading innovation, is taking its branding seriously. That is something which is needed for widespread adoption. You're probably wondering, then, why I am bringing the branding into question. It is not the brand in itself I see issue in, its who exactly is being marketed to. I'll give an example. On our main website there are a number of videos which aim to help explain exactly what our currency is and why it should be used. The aim of which is to draw people to using our currency over others. What should be observed here is the target audience for these videos. In both, technical aspects are discussed as benefits to using the coin. ACIS resistance, Decentralisation, handling fees, mining etc. These are all valid points. The problem with this is the fact that, to the average consumer, you might as well be speaking gibberish. The average person does not know what mining is, what ACIS's are or what the benefits of decentralisation are. It's likely they don't understand or even care about these aspects. If you are attracting someone who has a technical background and who had already dipped their toes into the crypto waters so to speak, then they are likely to understand these benefits, which is why when ACIS starts to hurt other script coins there will be a transition of those people potentially to us. What problem do I have with this? None. It's simply a matter of whether you are looking to expand your standing within the community or appeal to a larger audience. Appeal to a larger audience and you increase your appeal within the crypto community. The key issue is that this cannot work the other way. There need's to be a split of targeted marketing to those who have a technical background and to those who don't. This is something that is not witnessed often in this community, but there is one notable example I'm sure everyone's aware of. Dogecoin is doing incredibly well for a currency which was built atop a joke. Is there any real innovation there? Probably not technically, and yet they have been plastered across media. Why? Because they appeal to the mass market rather than a small minority of the technical elite. Just look at their intro video! It's a dog on a rocket. There isn't a single mention of any technical aspect In many ways its most likely inferior to our own and yet I've had people approach me to inform them of how to buy some. It may sound harsh, but when you market something you have to appeal to the lowest common denominator. In that sense you can then work your way up and you appeal to everyone. So what can we do? I am not saying that we need to go down the playful route in terms of what Doge is going. In the long run how can anyone take a currency seriously thats supposed to be a joke? However what I believe needs to be done is putting a larger focus on the consumer benefits and not just the technical.
Emphasis Placed on WHAT AND WERE people can SPEND their money on
General Mention of SECURITY
Lower Fees = LOWER PRICES
No need to sign up for a bank
And the ability to be a part of the FUTURE of currency (help encourage sense of community)
All of this can be communicated in a simple animations. I would suggest creating two videos, one to act as an advert to encourage and excite people to find out more and the other walking the user through the initial steps of downloading the wallet and the basic concepts of crypto currencies in layman terms. The latter I would suggest not hosting on youtube but directly on the website to then allow the user to click and download the wallet. [Sidenote - Any advertising done by the community needs to be shown to be a community effort, otherwise it looks like a Ponzi scheme. This can be done with a message like (This ad was sponsored by the community on reddit) or something like that] Imagine now that I am an average joe. I am interested in joining the community. These are some of the questions I may have and perhaps the solutions: What can I spend my Money on? No matter how much innovation you can claim to have with your decentralised currency, this is perhaps THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT. Everything else is irrelevant if you are unable to spend your money on anything. And this is perhaps the biggest problem for crypto currencies today; People just have no idea where they can spend money. Though some of you may notice there are some stores on the sidebar, but a new user is unlikely to find this place in the first place, and it's not exactly prominent there anyway. So whats the easiest way to market places to which people can spend their hard earned vert? The wallet. Personally I think the entire interface is being underutilised. That, ladies and gentlemen, is the face of your currency. It is the first thing people will see. And what will they see? 0 vert, 0 transactions and a logo. And then there just expected to know what to do. What I would propose is to have a tab perhaps labeled 'Marketplace' which features prominent online retailers which accept vert for a number of goods. That immediately solves the problem. It shows that there are things to buy with your currency, encourages spending so it is not a purely speculative currency (which is not healthy in the long run) and displays an active community to first timers. Not only that but it could act as a source of income for the foundation as you could allow businesses to bid for a more prominent placement in this tab, which could then help with further marketing. [As a sidenote, the wallets GUI needs to be updated anyway. How can anyone believe this is a currency for the future when it looks like something from windows 98?] How do I Get Money? Vertcoin faucets exist. As a newcomer you're likely to be unaware of this. They are incredibly useful as it allows for someone to play around with the idea of sending virtual money around. This could be integrated directly into the wallet as so when a user signs up, they are offered the opportunity on the spot to receive free coins. What could be better than that? Then encouraging them through social media to send money to friends as a sort of referral system in which both parties then get more money. That way you can spread quickly through social links. [Another sidenote, someone needs to work on a Twitter Vertcoin Bot. That's free promotion for the community right there. It's all fun and games here on Reddit but normal users are more likely to be on Twitter, so it makes sense to capitalize on that market] You could also implement a similar system with the advertising and allow trusted exchanges to offer their services. One of the big problems with people coming in is that they have no idea how to get the currency in the first place, putting them off. This would solve that issue. What If I Need Help? Which leads me to my next point; the integration of the community in the wallet itself. If I use a bank, if i need help I can call them, visit a branch and talk to a manager. With virtual currencies more often than not your left to your own devices. Cryptocurrencies are scary enough, it's even more terrifying to not have someone hold your hand through it. Why not have another tab within the wallet which links to reddit, help guides, FAQ's and stuff like that? Why not have a tutorial within the wallet which guides the user to make their first transaction? It immediately lowers the technical barriers and thus allows for further engagement. How Do I Mine? Integration of a one click mining button into the wallet. Helps with decentralisation and could solve your P2Pool problem. It could be made incredibly user friendly, with a GUI and the ability to scroll and select through a list of P2Pools. I think the basic premise of these ideas is that the wallet shouldn't be seen only as the thing that we use to make transactions, but instead act as the 'Bank' for individuals and HUB for services. [EDIT] In conclusion here's a summary of my ideas:
Greater focus on first time consumers rather than the crypto community
Create 2 Adverts, One which focuses on advertising the brand (commercial like), and another which focuses on simple technical aspects and initial setup of wallet for the website
Creation of a Twitter Tip Bot
Marketplace' Tab included in the wallet
Mining Tab included in the wallet
Integration of Faucet to wallet
Offer free vert bonuses for sharing links to Vert Promotional Material on social media
Tutorial in wallet to walk through first transaction
I'll be updating this later as I have more ideas but this has taken me half a day already and I'm forgetting things. If people are interested I could potentially do mockups for my vision for the wallet, but I'll leave that for another day :) [EDIT 2] I'll be designing mockups for the wallet next week Tuesday so keep an eye out for that! Also if anyone wants to see an example in terms of branding the sort of thing we should be aiming for, checkout ReddCoin, the branding for this coin is amazing
