UK Parliament mulls regulation as London Police say Drug Dealers are using Bitcoin ATMs to launder money.

Anti-money laundering regulations should be updated to include Bitcoin and other virtual currencies, the UK Treasury has said.
Bitcoin expert Dr Garrick Hileman, a research fellow at the University of Cambridge, said that in jurisdictions such as New York, crypto-currency is already subject to tighter regulation.
"Organised criminal groups have been early adopters of crypto-currencies to evade traditional money laundering checks and statutory regulations," said Det Supt Nick Stevens, from the Serious and Organised Crime Command.
"We also intend to update regulation to bring virtual currency exchange platforms into anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing regulation," he added.
"People need to be clear this is not an official currency. No central bank stands behind it, no government stands behind it," he told the BBC last week.
US twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss are reported to have become the world's first Bitcoin billionaires, having invested $11m in the currency in 2013.

International diamond jewellery brand, Samer Halimeh New York, has become the world's first diamond dealer and high-end level jeweller to start trading and retailing in Bitcoins.
The luxury diamond brand, which has a flagship in Knightsbridge, is using Bitpay as its merchant services provider, and the portal will host the firm's Bitcoin wallet and Bitcoin supply for trading.
For business-to-consumer retailing, the brand will now accept Bitcoins as payment for jewellery and individual diamonds, and can provide clients with jewellery priced in Bitcoins.
The diamond brand says that whilst historically the majority of both Gulf and Asian clients have tended to hold U.S. Dollars and to trade and purchase diamonds in U.S. Dollars, over the last 18 months both Middle East and Asian investors have been purchasing and holding large amounts of Bitcoin currency.
Samer Halimeh, chief executive of Samer Halimeh NY comments: "We are the first diamond dealer and 'Bond Street' level luxury jeweller to start accepting and trading using Bitcoins. This is because we have seen rising enquiries for this digital currency from clients, suppliers and trading partners. Our high-net-worth clients and contacts are currently holding large quantities of Bitcoins within their investment portfolios and have decided to exchange some of their stock for hard assets such as diamonds, artwork, gold and fine wine."
Currency exchanges around the world allow for Bitcoins to be exchanged for Dollars, Euros, Pound Sterling and other currencies, and they are then stored in a person/company's Bitcoin digital wallet, kept on a computer or mobile device.

My life story since no one wants to listen irl. post yours!

So im 19, im from Birmingham in the UK. I did pretty well in school up in till 16, I went to an all boys school (not one that you pay for but you had to pass a test to get in). I did well in my exams at 16. I was selling packs off the dark web at the time, giving them to a dealer (my age) who would sell them and then return the money plus some profit to me (he screwed me multiple times after about 30 runs). This involved buying bitcoin and the guy who I was buying it from offered me a job where I would take orders using natwest "get cash" at the ATMs which allowed you to put in a 6 digit code and get up to £130 from the atm, this meant I had his login and acces to some of his bitcoin. I did this for about 4 months before the guy who was selling for me (weed, MDMA and cocaine) got me into weed and I stole the bitcoin in the wallet (£2,400) for me to buy weed with (I was buying an oz every day for weeks). I then set up the guy selling bitcoin and robbed him for £5000 after sixth form (school). Which I ended up getting kicked out of for having weed on me.
I was then addicted to weed and to get money for it I would steal off my parents, this went on for months with me stealing 1000s of pounds and smoking kilos on kilos untill eventually they disowned me at 17 and left me on the streets. I had now met some serious gangsters (who stabbed people, one had been to prision for an attempted murder) and he let me stay at his house. To make money to survive he suggested I do county lines (going to a village/town in the countryside to sell crack and heroin for a gang) I did this and long story short the gang tried to do me over so I robbed them and came back to birmingham. This gangster was sick of me staying at his place so I got into a care home. Whilst I was there I robbed a food delivery truck to eat. I also got into lots of fights and ended up getting stabbed twice in the legs and beaten up many times. I ended up getting kicked out of the care home for breaking the rules three times and ended back on the streets sleeping in a car. There was a service provided by the council where I met up with my parents once a week to talk and they eventually let me stay at home again.
I continued to smoke lots of weed and ended up developing cannabis psychosis where I was hearing voices (I had also taken acid many times this is definatley a factor) but the voices got worse and worse and I was talking to them all day and night and my parents took me to a hospital for an assessment. They ended up sectioning me (forcing me to go to mental hospital against my will) and I ended up staying there for 3 months (I even made a VLOG ). Once I was released I had no friends really as the gangster ones were mostly toxic manipulative people so I cut them off and I didnt talk to anyone from school. I was depressed and alone for months untill I rekindled it with and old school friend and we ended up taking MDMA together a few times and one of the gangsters who was good became close again. My depression also went (permanatley) away after taking ketamine (its a miracle drug) and my life is good now. If you read this far I love you leave a comment!

[WTB] in the UK - 999.9 silver, up to 10ozt bar(s) or coins

I'm new to PMs and want to start with some shiny silver. Everything I see from dealers is either out of stock or 100% markup on spot price.
Most importantly, has to be in the UK as international shipping, insurance, and import costs/VAT make it a bad deal other wise. Hence why I'm post a WTB rather than replying to all of these great sellers.
Happy to pay by most methods, preference is actually bitcoin or ether but PayPal FF also fine.
Lastly, I do very much prefer shiny/mint/nice-to-look-at pieces, fickle as that may sound!
Any Brits wanna help me begin my collection?!

*LAUNCH* AtomicG - HardcoreRP

Hi and welcome to HardcoreRP from AtomicG,
After many hours of legacy and modern DarkRP experience, we at AtomicG have been working towards the launch of our own server for a while now. From drawing board to reddit board the focus has been on the 5 Tenet's (as well as the document from Fptje). Through sophisticated use of moderation plugins and addons, a tasteful choice premium gameplay features, and a redesigned rules and administration system; we at AtomicG believe alongside the support of an active community, that this may be the future of DarkRP.
Unique Rules:
AtomicG has sought to redesign the repetitive and broken system of rules that most RP servers use as standard today. Having played many hours of DarkRP ourselves and with inspiration from 'FPtge', the creator of the DarkRP Mod, here are the new adapted changes.
- [All 'characters' may: mug, raid, steal, terror, etc...] While different job roles may spawn with or have access to specific equipment by default, all players have access to the required tools via a number of dealers. E.g. - Black Market Dealer sells lock-picks, armory lock-picks, stolen police equipment.
- [NO ADVERTING] Advertising has been abolished and replaced with an admin replay addon, which allows staff to view events after the time. Further to that we have implemented an evidence based report system as is found in many other RP games. Players are encouraged and advised on how to record gameplay via our Discord.
-[PLAYER REVIVAL] Players are able to be revived if killed, this simple addition adds numerous further features for in-game punishment of rule breakers, using RP systems following revival to maintain the quality of RP while too dealing with the individual problem via the roleplay led in-game justice system and relevant law enforcement tools and addons.
-[NO FAILRP] We have too abolished FailRP, in conjunction with our re-imagining of character roles, and the mass un-restriction of gameplay crimes, FailRP is no longer necessary. FailRP has been replaced with 'NORP', a server rule, not an IG crime, that disallows 'Self-Serving' and non active roleplay of RP crucial characters. This rule is easily moderated via simple Logging addons, and supported by our evidence based reports policy (found in our Discord).
-[NO RDM] RDM has been replaced with MassDM. While RDM in its literal sense is annoying, the elemental realism this simple change provides, accompanied with revival systems and moderation logging; enables us to identify, deal with, and manage MassDM with minimal interruption to RP. While paramedic addons handle the negative financial and RP effects of RDM, admins can handle the mass disruption of MassDM.

Planned Features:
-Donation Features:
Avoiding 'pay 2 win' is an obvious tenet to adhere to, in light of this, our planned donation schemes are to be based around balance and gameplay features. In the update due next month expect:
  • Custom Secure Radio Channels.
  • Custom Weapon Skins.
  • Upgradable inventory slots.

Economy Information:
In order to maintain a fair and balanced economy, values and prices have been calculated and tested over tens of in-game hours, to find an appropriate balance of risk and reward. Cash sinkholes include high priced weapons (a RP feature of the servers theme 'London'). As well as an easily accessible healing asset, helping to keep cash flowing and extending RP lives. [These features are to be extended with player-base alongside the planned features.
Thank you for reading our Server-Plug, please don't forget to comment with any feedback andto check out AtomicG's HarcoreRP @:
